Paper preparation guidelines for the Journal of Researches in Mechanics of Agricultural Machinery

For each research submitted to the journal office, in the first step, four files must be attached:

The Original manuscript should be without the authors' details (the name of the file is the article code) which is attached as the "Original manuscript." The Original manuscript should be prepared in two columns and in accordance with the template file format (Template) on the site.

The signed commitment letter form should be sent as an attached file. (The image of the signed commitment letter should be sent in PDF format).

The authors' information should be supplied as a single separate file in the sample format provided on the site.

The corresponding Author should sign the conflict of interest form, and its image should be sent in PDF format.

Note 1: Note that it is not necessary to send the figures and tables as separate files.

Note: the process of reviewing the paper will not start if the required documents are incomplete,

To expedite the refereeing process, it is suggested that the names, emails, and workplaces of two academic reviewers from different universities in Iran (except the university where the author (s) work) who specialize in the paper's subject matter be mentioned as reviewers. It should be noted that it is mandatory to suggest two reviewers.

Manuscript preparation:

Title: (Nazanin 14), the article's title should be no more than 20 words and should reflect the content of the article. There is no need to mention the names of the authors under the title.

Abstract: The submission should not carry an abstract of less than 100 words or more than 300 words. The text of the abstract should be in Nazanin 12 font. This abstract should state the problem, objective(s) of the study or investigation, Method(s), Results, and Conclusion. The abstract should be written in one paragraph.

The manuscript should be typed on white paper without the logo and in dimensions of 21* 29 cm, keeping 2.5 cm of margin on each side, inserting the page and line number, Single- spacing the lines, two columns, (body text with font) Nazanin 12 and the main titles (Bold) and set to a maximum of 12 pages. The Manuscript file prepared in Office 2007 onwards should be submitted through the journal website.

Nazanin 12 font should be used in all body text, and Nazanin 12 Bold font should be selected for the titles and headlines. Latin words in the body text should be typed in Times New Roman 10 font.

Keywords: The authors should provide 4 to 7 keywords below the abstract.

Introduction: In this section, the subject of the research should be introduced, and the desired hypothesis should be defined. Refer to the previous research on the subject, explain the necessity of the research and specify the purpose of the study. The references mentioned in the text body must be accessible in the form of a book or an article in one of the scientific journals. References cited in the text should be in the style of the Author's name and year. All sources in the text should be referenced in Latin (see reference List Guide).

Materials and methods: Include materials used and descriptions of new methods used, or mention of common and known methods.

Formulas must be written with the Equation program (If you are preparing an article file with office Word 2007 onwards, the formulas must be written with Mathtype or similar programs, which provides editing capability in all versions of office word)

Results and Discussion: Contains the results of the research in the form of text, table, and figure. Avoid repeating figures in the form of (tables, shapes, etc.). Articles published in recent years in this journal or Template file can be used as a guide to preparing tables or figures. Figures and tables should be inserted into the text after referring them. Charts should be added to the article without the background color (in black and white) and in the original format (not as a photo). Table numbers must be in Persian, and all numbers in the text body must be in Persian, while in the word setting, the format of numbers in context (Displaying numbers in Persian in other formats is not acceptable).

Figures should be clear and legible. Numbers and texts on the axes of the diagrams must be clear and legible. (Get help from the previous publication of the journal or the Template file). In the discussion section, the causes and relationships between the variables in creating the results should be discussed and compared and discussed using other scientific studies.

Conclusion: The article should have a general conclusion, including a final understanding from the research and its possible applications.

Acknowledgments: If needed, this section should mention in a sole paragraph maximum of 50 words. People, organizations, and institutions who contributed to the work should be listed in the acknowledgments

References: The references cited in the text must already be available in the form of a book or a paper in one of the scientific journals and be accessible to the readers. All references should be written in Latin, whether in the text or in the reference list. The citation style format in the text includes the Author's name and year (Karimi, 2008). Authors use the phrase & to cite sources with two authors in the text (Sakenian & Ebrahimi, 2007), and the phrase et al. is used to cite sources with more than two authors in the text (Ebrahimi et al., 2013). Whenever possible, citations in the text should be at the end of the sentence and in parentheses. If it is necessary to start the sentence with citations, sample formats such as Ghasemi-Varnamkhasti (2005), Ghanbarian & Maleki (2007), and Hosseinzadeh et al. (2013) should be used. If the authors use standards, statistics, etc. in the text of the article, then they should use the phrase "Anonymous (2018)" at the end of the paragraph.

Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list, and the list of references should be prepared in alphabetical order of the Author's name, as in the following examples. The reference list format at the end of the article should be in APA style (adaptable from Google Scholar) and without the source number. The list of references at the end of the text should be set in Latin with Times New Roman font and size of 10 with single line spacing 1. References published in Persian should be translated into English and mentioned in parentheses at the end (In Persian). Examples of how to provide references are as follows:
