Production of greenhouse products as part of the production system is considered to be the most important energy consuming sector in the agricultural sector. The present study investigates the energy consumption and its consumption in sweet pepper greenhouses in Tiran and Karvan county, Isfahan province, to determine the best type of greenhouse structure suitable for the climatic conditions of the area. The required data were collected through a completely randomized questionnaire from ?? greenhouse units in three treatments with ?? replications, in the ????-???? crop year. The energy of machinery, fuel, chemical fertilizer, manure, poisons, labor force, water and electricity were calculated as inputs and the yield of pepper was calculated as output. The total amount of input and output energy was ???????? MJ / ha and ????? MJ / ha, respectively. The highest and lowest energy consumption was natural gas with ???????? MJ / ha (??.???%) and machinery with ???? MJ / ha, respectively (?.???%). Energy indices including energy ratio, energy efficiency, specific energy and net energy added were calculated to be ?.?????, ?.???? kg / MJ, ???.? MJ / kg and -???????? MJ / ha, respectively. The share of direct, indirect, renewable and non-renewable energy was ???????? (??.???%), ?????? (?.???%), ????? (?.???%) and ???????? (??.???%) MJ / ha Was calculated. According to the results of data envelopment analysis, the return to fixed-scale model and return to variable scale were ?? and ?? efficiency units respectively, ?? and ? units respectively. The results of statistical analysis of Levin's test (sig = ?.???) showed that the variance of the energy efficiency of the structures is equal.
